Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Depart at 8:00am from your hotel in Nairobi for a scenic drive to the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and through Narok town, arriving in time for a lunch, and check in to your tented camp or lodge for some rest and relaxation before the evening game drive between 4:00pm and 6:00pm.
Day 2: Masai Mara
Early breakfast followed by a full day of game drives with an intimate picnic lunch overlooking the Mara river where you may spot crocodiles basking. Masai Mara is famous for its great prides of lion, herds of wildebeest, Maasai giraffe, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino. Our mission on this day will be not only to spot the big five but also to have a great time learning about the reserve’s flora and fauna and an amazing array of birdlife.
In the late afternoon, we will visit a traditional Maasai village and learn about this preserved nomadic culture and lifestyle.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi
We will start with an early morning game before breakfast and check out, after which we will enjoy an en-route game drive before leaving the reserve and on to Narok town for lunch and thereafter head back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
